I’m a big fan of the dark soft light of early winter days and getting out there to make the most of the sun-less skies in December. So kicking about in the leaves in the countryside sounded like the perfect Sunday morning. We kicked things off with a walk through their local woods before skipping on over to the ruins at Roche Abbey to mix things up with a bit of heritage and a walk beside the lake – who said winters for staying indoors.
